L O C K N U T
Straighten the lock washer tabs and remove the
l o c k n u t a n d l o c k w a s h e r .
L o o s e n t h e b e a r i n g a d j u s t m e n t n u t a n d r e m o v e
the steering stem.
Check the steering stem bearings for damage or'
wear.
B E A R I N G R E P L A C E M E N T
N O T E
Replace the bearing and bearing race as a set.
Remove the grease retainer.
Remove the bearing inner race and dust seal from
the steering stem.
