NOTE

faces.
R e m o v e t h e s l a v e c y l i n d e r .
Remove the piston from the cylinder.
lf piston removal is hard, place a shop towel over
the piston to cushion the piston when it is expelled,
and position the cylinder with the piston down.
A p p l y c o m p r e s s e d a i r t o t h e f l u i d i n l e t t o r e m o v e
t h e p i s t o n . U s e t h e a i r i n s h o r t s p u r t s .
R e m o v e t h e s p r i n g f r o m t h e s l a v e c y l i n d e r .
R e m o v e t h e o i l a n d p i s t o n s e a l s .
C l e a n t h e p i s t o n g r o o v e w i t h c l u t c h f l u i d .
Check the piston spring for weakness or damage.
