Disconnect the pulse generator wire coupler.
Disconnect the water hoses and the temperat0re
sensor wire from the thermostat,
Remove the thermostat housing.
Disconnect the battery negative cable from the
b a t t e r y t e r m i n a l .
F r e e t h e s t a r t e r m o t o r c a b l e f r o m t h e c l a m p .
Place the floor jack or other adjustable support
u n d e r t h e e n g i n e .
N O T E
The jack height must be continuously adjust-
ed to relieve stress from bolts that are being
removed.
R e m o v e t h e e n g i n e h a n g e r b o l t s f r o m t h e r i g h t s i d e .
Remove the f rame-to-sub-irame bolt.
