Hold the fork tube in a vise, witli soft jaws or a shop
towel and remove the fork tube cap.
CAUTlOltl
Do not damage the sliding surface.
Remove the fork spring, spacer and washer.
D r a i n t h e f o r k f l u i d b y p u m p i n g t h e f o r k u p a n d
down several times.
Hold the fork slider in a vise with soft jaws or a
shop towel.
Remove the socket bolt with a hex wrench.
N O T E
Temporarily install the spring and fork cap
if difficulty is encountered in removing the
socket bolt.
The piston and rebound spring can be removed
from the right fork.
