Remove the Platen Protective Foam
1. Open the tractor gates. Push the tractor locks down. Move the tractors
outward as far as they will go. (See Figure 2–3.)
2. Rotate the forms thickness lever away from you as far as it will go; this
is the fully open position.
3. Rotate the platen protective foam toward the front of the printer and
remove it.
