Troubleshooting
If this happens
The unit does not
humidify despite
having added water
to the water tank.
Water level in the
water tank does not
lower.
The room does not
humidify despite
setting the "CONT"
humidify setting.
The unit does not
stop even though
humidity is high.
The water supply lamp is lit
even though water was added.
If the problem cannot be corrected after taking the above action, contact the service shop.
Humidifying Air Purifier
The following situations have logical explanations.
Before requesting servicing, make the following checks.
Check
Is the humidifier ON/OFF lamp is lit?
Does the unit have a humidifying filter?
Has scale accumulated on the humidifying filter?
Is the humidifying filter lamp lit or flashing?
Is the water supply lamp flashing?
Is the front panel open?
Is the water supply lamp lit?
Does the unit have a humidifying filter?
Humidification capacity is low when indoor
temperature is low and humidity is high.
Is the humidify setting set to "CONT"?
Air purifying operation is in active while
humidifying operation. Humidifying operation
stops when the set humidity level is reached, but
air purification continues.
Is the unit exposed to direct sunlight or the hot
air draught of heaters?
Has the float inside the humidifying tray come off?
Troubleshooting
How to resolve
Press
if the lamp is out.
HUM ON/OFF
Install a humidifying filter.
Page 37.
Soak the humidifying filter for about 30 - 60
minutes in lukewarm or plain water in which
neutral liquid detergent has been dissolved,
then rinse in water.
Page 35, 36.
Replace the humidifying filter.
Page 37.
If the lamp is flashing, the humidifying tray is not
properly installed.
Install the tray properly.
Page 35, 36.
If none of the front indicator lamps or the lamps on the
operating panel light, the front panel may be open.
Check that the front panel is securely closed.

Add water.

Install a humidifying filter.

Change the humidify setting.

Move the unit to a location where not exposed to
direct sunlight or the hot air draught of heaters.
Reattach the float as before.
