7.8 SUSPENSION TRASERA
7.8.1 AJUSTE
La suspensión trasera está compuesta por un par de gru-
pos muelles - amortiguador, fijados en el motor por medio
del silent-block.
Los amortiguadores están equipados con una virola de
tres posiciones para el ajuste de la precarga del muelle.
El ajuste estándard, establecido por la empresa, está
preajustado para un piloto que pese unos 70 kg.
Según el peso y las distintas exigencias, actúe sobre la
tuerca (1) con un llave de espigón (del equipamiento ba-
se) definiendo, de tal forma, las condiciones ideales de
marcha (véase tabla).

7.8.2 DESMONTAJE AMORTIGUADOR
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.

Espere a que el motor y el silenciador de es-
cape se hayan enfriado del todo.

Desmonte un amortiguador a la vez.
Para mantener en posición el vehículo deje
siempre un amortiguador instalado.
Destornille y quite el tornillo superior (2) y guarde la
tuerca (3).
Par de apriete tornillo superior: 20 Nm (2 kgm).

Para facilitar la extracción del tornillo superior
presione moderadamente sobre el sillín.
Destornille y quite el tornillo inferior (4).
Par de apriete tornillo inferior: 20 Nm (2 kgm).
Extraiga el amortiguador.

7.8 REAR SUSPENSION
7.8.1 ADJUSTMENT
The rear suspension consists of a pair of spring-shock
absorber units, fixed to the engine by means of silent-
blocks.
The shock absorbers are provided with a metal ring with
three positions, for the adjustment of the spring preload.
The standard adjustment, set by the manufacturer, is
suitable for a driver weighing about 70 kg.
If your weight and needs are different, act on the nut (1)
with the suitable spanner provided in the tool kit, thus set-
ting the ideal travelling conditions (see table).

7.8.2 REMOVING THE SHOCK ABSORBER
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
Position the vehicle on the central stand.

Wait until the engine and the exhaust silencer
have completely cooled down.

Remove the shock absorbers one by one.
To keep the vehicle in its position, always
leave one shock absorber installed on the vehicle.
Unscrew and remove the upper screw (2) and take
the nut (3).
Upper screw driving torque: 20 Nm (2 kgm).

Slightly press the saddle, in order to facilitate
the extraction of the upper screw.
Unscrew and remove the lower screw (4).
Lower screw driving torque: 20 Nm (2 kgm).
Remove the shock absorber (5).
