PUESTA A PUNTO
2.18 CONTROL EJE TRANSMISION MOTOR
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Realice periódicamente el control del juego presente en-
tre los casquillos del perno del motor y el perno motor.
Para el control:
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Sacuda la rueda perpendicularmente al sentido de
marcha.
En caso de que note un juego, compruebe que todos
los órganos para fijar el eje transmisión estén bien
apretados, véase 7.1.23 (DESMONTAJE ELEMENTO
DE CONEXION ENGANCHE MOTOR).
2.19 INSPECCION SUSPENSION DELANTERA
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Controle la suspensión delantera tras los primeros
1000 km, luego cada 6000 km o 8 meses.
Sustituya el aceite de la suspensión delantera cada
12000 km, véase 7.8 (SUSPENSION TRASERA).
Controle que la horquilla no presente pérdidas de
aceite y que la superficie exterior de las barras no esté
rayada o tenga hendiduras; en este caso sustituya to-
das las partes dañadas.
Además realice los siguientes controles:
Con la palanca del freno delantero accionada, presio-
ne varias veces sobre el manillar de manera que la
horquilla se hunda.
La carrera debe ser suave y no debe haber rastro de
aceite sobre las barras.
Controle el apriete de todos los órganos y la funciona-
lidad de las articulaciones de la suspensión delantera,
véase 7.8 (SUSPENSION TRASERA).
2.20 INSPECCION SUSPENSION TRASERA
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Controle la suspensión trasera tras los primeros
1000 km, luego cada 6000 km o 8 meses.
Controle que los amortiguadores no presenten pérdi-
das de aceite.
Controle el apriete de todos los órganos y la funciona-
lidad de las articulaciones de la suspensión trasera,
véase 7.8 (SUSPENSION TRASERA).

Controle que ambos amortiguadores estén re-
gulados en la misma posición.
Para el ajuste, véase 7.8.1 (AJUSTE).

2.18 CHECKING THE ENGINE FULCRUM AXIS
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION)
Periodically check the slack existing between the engine
pin bushings and the engine pin.
To carry out this operation, proceed as follows:
Position the vehicle on the stand.
Shake the wheel perpendicularly to the direction of
travel.
If you find any slack, make sure that all the fastening
elements of the fulcrum axis are well tightened, see
7.1.23 (REMOVING THE ENGINE CONNECTION
ELEMENT).
2.19 INSPECTING THE FRONT SUSPENSION
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION)
Check the front suspension after the first 1000 km and
successively every 6000 km or 8 months.
Change the front suspension oil every 12000 km, see 7.8
(REAR SUSPENSION).
Make sure that there are no oil leaks on the fork and
that the outer surface of the rods in neither scratched
nor grooved. Otherwise, provide for replacing all the
damaged parts.
Carry out also the following checking operations:
With pulled front brake lever, push the fork repeatedly
downwards.
The stroke must be gentle and there must be no trace
of oil on the rods.
Check the fastening of all the components and the
functionality of the front suspension joints, see 7.8
(REAR SUSPENSION).
2.20 INSPECTING THE REAR SUSPENSION
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION)
Check the front suspension after the first 1000 km and
successively every 6000 km or 8 months.
Make sure that there are no oil leaks on the shock ab-
sorbers.
Check the fastening of all the components and the
functionality of the rear suspension joints, see 7.8 (RE-
AR SUSPENSION).

Make sure that both shock absorbers are set
on the same position.
For the adjustment, see 7.8.1 (ADJUSTMENT).
