7.1.16 DESMONTAJE VANO PORTACASCO
Lea con cuidado 1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMA-
CIONES GENERALES).
Saque eventuales objetos del vano portacasco (cas-
co, kit herramientas, manual de instrucciones, etc.).
Saque la batería, véase 7.1.15 (EXTRACCION BATE-
RIA).
Desmonte la cola, véase 7.1.3 (DESMONTAJE CO-
LA).
Extraiga el bloque cierre sillín, véase 7.1.17 (DES-
MONTAJE BLOQUE CIERRE SILLIN).
Destornille y quite los cuatro tornillos de sujeción (1)
(lado derecho vehículo) del soporte componentes
eléctricos (2) y guarde las correspondientes arande-
las.

Actúe con cuidado.
No fuerce los cables eléctricos.
Ladee, sin forzar, el soporte componentes eléctricos
(2).
Desconecte los dos conectores eléctricos (3-4) del
portafusible.
Extraiga, a través de los correspondientes agujeros,
los cables eléctricos de la batería, del portafusible, y el
tubo respiradero de la batería.
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (5) (base del vano
batería).
Destornille y quite el tornillo (6) (lado delantero del
vano batería).

Durante la instalación, antes de apretar defini-
tivamente el tornillo (6), coloque correctamen-
te el soporte delantero cola. (Levántelo o bájelo lige-
ramente buscando la posición óptima para que los
elementos de plástico coincidan exactamente).
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (7) (lado trasero
bastidor).
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (8) que sujetan el
grupo cámara de aspiración aire/recipiente de reten-
ción combustible.

Ponga cuidado durante la instalación.
El grupo queda conectado y está soportado
sólo por el manguito.
Baje el sillín.
Levantándolo verticalmente saque el vano portacasco
junto con el sillín.
CHASSIS PARTS
7.1.16 REMOVING THE CRASH HELMET
COMPARTMENT
Carefully read 1.4 (PRECAUTIONS AND GENERAL IN-
FORMATION).
Remove any object (crash helmet, tool kit, use and
maintenance manual, etc.) from the crash helmet
compartment.
Remove the battery, see 7.1.15 (REMOVING THE
BATTERY).
Remove the rear part of the fairing, see 7.1.3 (RE-
MOVING THE REAR PART OF THE FAIRING).
Remove the saddle lock unit, see 7.1.17 (REMOVING
THE SADDLE LOCK UNIT).
Unscrew and remove the four tightening screws (1)
(right side of the vehicle) of the electric component
support (2) and take the relevant washers.

Proceed with care.
Do not force the electric cables.
Move the electric component support (2) sidewards,
without exerting too much pressure.
Disconnect the two electric connectors (3-4) of the
fuse carrier.
Withdraw the electric cables of the battery, fuse carrier
and battery breather pipe through the suitable holes.
Unscrew and remove the two screws (5) (bottom of the
battery box).
Unscrew and remove the screw (6) (front side of the
battery box).

Upon reassembly, position the front support
of the rear part of the fairing correctly before
tightening the screw (6) definitively. (Slightly lift or
lower it and try to find the optimal position to make
the plastic parts coincide perfectly).
Unscrew and remove the two screws (7) (rear part of
the frame).
Unscrew and remove the two screws (8) that fasten
the air suction chamber/fuel header tank unit.

Be careful upon reassembly.
The unit remains connected to and supported
by the coupling only.
Lower the saddle.
Remove the crash helmet compartment complete with
the saddle, by lifting it vertically.
