INSTALACION DE REFRIGERACION
5.6 EXTRACCION DEPOSITO DE EXPANSION
Lea con cuidado 1.2.6 (LIQUIDO REFRIGERANTE) y
1.4 (PRECAUCIONES E INFORMACIONES GENERA-
LES).
Coloque el vehículo sobre el caballete central.
Extraiga el escudo delantero interior, véase 7.1.4 (DE-
SMONTAJE ESCUDO DELANTERO INTERIOR).

NO ESPARZA EL LIQUIDO REFRIGERANTE
EN EL AMBIENTE.
Al extraer el manguito (1) saldrá del depósito de
expansión (2) el líquido refrigerante presente en éste.
Prepare un recipiente con capacidad de alrededor de
1 litro para recuperar el líquido que va a salir.
Coloque, por debajo del depósito de expansión, un
paño absorbente para recoger el líquido refrigerante
en caso de que se derrame.

Prepare unas abrazaderas ajustables para
bloquear el tubo para sustituirlas a las origi-
nales (de tipo especial sin tornillo).
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (3).
Extraiga el manguito (4) del enganche depósito de ex-
pansión.
Corte la cabeza de la abrazadera (5).
Extraiga el manguito (1) del enganche depósito de ex-
pansión.
Ponga, rápidamente, por debajo del depósito de ex-
pansión el recipiente y recupere el líquido refrigerante.

El líquido refrigerante es nocivo.
Coloque el recipiente en un lugar seguro.
MANTENGASE LEJOS DEL ALCANCE DE LOS NI-
ÑOS
Destornille y quite los dos tornillos (6).
Saque el depósito de expansión.
5.7 VALVULA TERMOESTATICA

5.8 BOMBA LIQUIDO REFRIGERANTE

930 (UK-E-F).
COOLING SYSTEM
5.6 REMOVING THE EXPANSION TANK
Carefully read 1.2.6 (COOLANT) and 1.4 (PRECAU-
TIONS AND GENERAL INFORMATION).
Position the vehicle on the central stand.
Remove the front inner shield, see 7.1.4 (REMOVING
THE FRONT INNER SHIELD).

DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE COOLANT IN THE
ENVIRONMENT.
When the hose (1) is withdrawn, the coolant
present in the expansion tank (2) will flow out.
Get a container with at least 1
coolant.
Put a cloth under the expansion tank, to absorb the
coolant that might have been spilt.

Get pipe clamps screwdriver-type to replace
the original ones (special type without screw).
Cut the clamp head (3).
Withdraw the hose (4) from the expansion tank cou-
pling.
Cut the clamp head (5).
Withdraw the hose (1) from the expansion tank cou-
pling (1).
Promptly put the container under the expansion tank
and collect the coolant.

The coolant is noxious.
Keep the container in a safe place.
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN
Unscrew and remove the two screws (6).
Remove the expansion tank.
5.7 THERMOSTAT VALVE

the ENGINE SERVICE MANUAL n. 929 (I-D) and n. 930
(UK-E-F).
5.8 COOLANT PUMP
For any information regarding the coolant pump, see the
ENGINE SERVICE MANUAL n. 929 (D-I) and n. 930
