• Brush "a" length (see fig. 72)

6. measure:
• Brush spring pressure

• Bearing
• Oil seal

1. Install:
• Starter motor front cover/brush support set "1"
• Starter motor rear cover "2"
(see fig. 73)
• Align the references "a" on the starter motor rear and front
cover/brush support set.
