ENGINE OVERHAUL
1. Check:
• Camshaft sprocket.
• Over 1/4 of "a" wear tooth
sprocket, the timing chain and the crankshaft.
(see fig. 07)

2. Check:
• Timing chain guide (exhaust side) Damage/wear
ce.
1. Check:
• Timing chain tensioner
• Clefts/damage/irregular movement

Slightly press with your hands the timing chain tensioner rod in
the tensioner slot.

• NOTE:
• Pressing the timing chain tensioner rod, turn it clockwise
with a blade screwdriver.
b. Remove the screwdriver and slowly release the timing chain
tensioner rod "1" until stop. (see fig. 08)
c. Make sure the timing chain tensioner rod is easily removed from
the timing chain tensioner slot.
If the movement is irregular, replace the chain tensioner.
