CARBURETTOR DISASSEMBLY
CARBURETTOR CHECK
Part. N. 8000 H4704 (07-2010)
CARBURETTOR
1. Remove:
• floater pin "1"
• needle valve "2"
• floater "3"
• NOTE: Take out the floater pin in the direction shown by
the arrow.

1. Check:
• carburettor body
• float chamber
• jet block
Cracks/damage
2. Check:
• fuel passages
• Obstruction
a.
Flush carburettor with a petroleum-base solvent. Do not use
corrosive detergent solutions.
b.
Blow all passages and jets with compressed air.
3. Check:
• float chamber body
Dirty
4. Check:
• floater
Damage
5. Check:
• needle valve
Damage/obstruction/wear
6. Check:
• piston valve
Damage/scratches/wear
• piston valve diaphragm
• enricher in release stage diaphragm
Clefts/tears
7. Check:
• vacuum chamber cover
• piston valve spring
Cracks/damage
