ENGINE COOLING
• Before installing the impeller shaft retainer, lubricate the slit
on impeller shaft end with a thin layer of lithium soap-base
grease.
• Install water pump housing seal, water pump housing plate
and impeller shaft retainer as shown.
• after installation, ensure impeller shaft can turn smoothly.
(see fig. 08)

1. Install:
• Water pump assembly "1".
• O-ring "2".
• align projecting part "a" on impeller shaft to slit "b" on
camshaft sprocket bolt.
• Lubricate the O-rings with a thin layer of lithium soap-base
grease.
