Making a call from overseas

You can make a call in simple operation using memory No. (Quick
dial).
When you enter a number within 2-digits overseas, a screen
asking for selecting "Quick dial" or "Call" appears. If you select
"Call", the call is made as it is (used for emergency overseas).
Making an international call (including Japan)

0 (1 sec. or more)
"+" is entered.

Enter "Country code (for Japan, 81)-phone number
without the leading 0 of Area code (City code)"en

Point
The call is forwarded internationally from Japan even when staying in the
same country as the party to be called, so enter "+" and the country code
of Japan, "81".

Receiving a call inside the country you stay

A call is received en (voice calls)

Point
Regardless of the country, from which the call is made, the call is
internationally forwarded from Japan. The caller is charged for call fees to
Japan, and the receiver is charged for receiving the call.
Setting after returning to Japan
When you turn the FOMA terminal ON, the connection to the
FOMA network is established automatically. If it is not
automatically connected, set Network search setting to "Auto" and
3G/GSM setting to "AUTO".
