◆ Confirming FOMA communication configuration file

When a PC does not detect FOMA terminal correctly, settings and communication cannot be performed.
<Example> Checking on Windows 7

(Start)→"コントロールパネル (Control panel)"→"システムとセキュリティ
(System and security)"→"デバイスマネージャー (Device manager)" in the "シ
ステム (System)" category.
Under Windows Vista
Click (Start)→"コントロールパネル (Control panel)"→"システムとメンテナンス (System and
maintenance)"→"デバイスマネージャ (Device manager)".
Under Windows XP
a Click "スタート (Start)"→"コントロールパネル (Control panel)"→"パフォーマンスとメンテナンス
(Performance and maintenance)"→"システム (System)".
b On the "システムのプロパティ (Property of system)" screen, click "ハードウェア (Hardware)" tab
→"デバイスマネージャ (Device manager)".

Double-click the type of each device→Confirm that the name of the following
devices are registered.

The order to be displayed differs
depending on OSs.

FOMA F01C Command Port (COMx)
FOMA F01C OBEX Port (COMx)
-モデム (Modem) : FOMA F01C
-ユニバーサルシリアルバスコントローラ
(Universal Serial Bus Controller) or USB
(Universal Serial Bus) コントローラ
(Controller) : FOMA F01C

Before operating, refer to "Precautions for installation/uninstallation".→P6

Before operating, remove FOMA terminal from the PC.
