WINTERIZATION KIT
SECTION 1
GENERAL
The winterization kit consists of two cover plates (with placards)
which attach to the air intakes in the cowling nose cap, a restrictive cover
plate for the induction air inlet, a placard to be installed on the instrument
paneL and insulation for the crankcase breather line. This equipment
should be installed for operations in temperatures consistently below 20

F

Once installed, the crankcase breather insulation is approved for
permanent use in both hot and cold weather.
SECTION 2
LIMITATIONS
The following information must be presented in the form of placards
when the airplane is equipped with a winterization kit.
1.
On each nose cap cover plate and induction air inlet cover plate:
