signal is being received for maximum clarity.

a. To Transmit -- DEPRESS and SPEAK into microphone.
NOTE
Sidetone is not available on this radio.
b. To Receive -- RELEASE mike button.
NOTE
Voice co=unications are not available in the LSB mode.
NOTE
Lower sideband (LSB) mode is not legal in the U.S.,
Canada, and most other countries.
SECTION 5
PERFORMANCE
There is no change to the airplane performance when this avionic
equipment is installed. However, the installation of an externally mounted
antenna or several related external antennas, will result in a minor
reduction in cruise performance.
