Scanning
Press and hold either SEEK arrow
for more than two seconds (until
SCAN appears on the display and
you hear a beep) to sample a few
seconds of the beginning of each
track on a selected disc.
Press it again to stop the scanning
function.
Press and hold either SEEK arrow
for more than four seconds (until
ALL CD SCAN appears on the
display and you hear a beep) to
sample a few seconds of the first
track on each disc.
Press it again to stop the scanning
function.
Repeating Discs or Tracks
Press (repeat) to listen to a
selection again. The current selec-
tion will continue to repeat. RPT
TRACK # (repeat track number)
will appear on the display. Press
this button again to turn off
repeated play.
The indicator light should turn on.
Press and hold (repeat) for two
seconds to repeat the entire disc
you are listening to.
REPEAT CD # (repeat CD number)
will appear on the display.
The indicator light should turn on.
Press this button again to turn off
repeated play.
The indicator light will turn off.
Section 1
Random Playback
Press (random) to play the
tracks randomly rather than in
sequence.
• Press and release this button to
hear only the tracks on the
selected disc in random order.
RANDOM ONE will appear on
the display.
• Press and hold this button for
two seconds to hear all of the
tracks on all of the discs in ran-
dom order.
You will hear a beep.
RANDOM ALL will appear on
the display.
Press the button again to turn this
feature off.
