Problems on the Road
Here's how to add coolant to the
radiator:
1. To remove the cap when the
cooling system, including the
pressure cap and upper radia-
tor hose, is no longer hot, turn
it slowly counterclockwise.
If you hear a "hiss", wait for
that to stop. The "hiss" means
there is still some pressure left.
Then continue to slowly turn
the cap and remove it.

Note:
If, at any time during this
procedure, coolant begins to
flow out of the filler neck,
reinstall the radiator pressure
cap.
2. Fill the radiator with the right
mixture, up to the base of the
filler neck.
3. Then go over to the coolant
recovery tank and fill it up to
the FULL COLD mark.
4. Put the cap back on the
coolant recovery tank, but
leave the radiator cap off.
