If the child restraint manufacturer
recommends that the top strap be
attached, attach and tighten the
top strap to the top strap anchor
.
Note:
Do not secure the top strap to
the seatback latch .
• If the seat does not have a head
rest or head restraint, route the
top strap directly over the seat-
back.
Section 2
• If the seat has a fixed head rest
or head restraint and the child
restraint has a single top strap,
route the top strap over the
head rest or head restraint.
