Changing the Call Transfer Number

The messaging system automatically transfers calls to your extension. When you are unavailable or busy
with another call, the system takes a message for you. If you will be away for a while, you can turn off call
transfer or transfer your calls to a different phone number.
You can enter up to nine digits for the transfer-to phone number.
Call transfer must be turned on before your calls can be transferred to a different phone number.
NOTE
This feature might not be availalbe in your organization. Speak with your
system manager to determine if the feature is available and if any special
numbers or settings are needed to dial an external number.

Call the messaging system and log on.

Sign in to the Mailbox Manager.
Click the Transfer|Screening tab.

Select This number.

Type the phone number or extension to where calls should be transferred.
Click Save.
