Client side message transcription is a serivce that converts messages from audio format to text format. It
allows delivery of voice mail messages when listening to audio messages would be either a challenge or
prohibited. Once a message is transcribed, it can be forwarded either as an email or as a text message,
depending on the capabilities of the transcription provider.
Any provider that is able to recieve SMTP notifications is compatible with the messaging system. Different
systems use different methods for message transcription. Some use machine transcription. Others employ
human transcribers. In some cases, machine translation is used unless a section is automatically transcribed
with low accuracy confidence. Service abvailability will depend on your service provider and contracted
service levels.
Contact your system administration to enable and configure this feature.
If the service is available and configured on your messaging server, you may need to confiugre email
