5-26 Operation
The guest headphones are always fed with the same signal as the CR monitor
speakers, but without cut or dim functions.
GUEST HP
For setting the guest headphone's level, the HP VOL knob is used while press-
ing the GUEST HP button. The adjusted level is indicated by the knob's LED
ring.
The PFL and talkback return signals are mixed and fed to the internal speaker.
If the PFL signal is listened on the CR monitor speakers, it is automatically
muted on the internal speaker.
If the CR red light is active, the internal speaker is automatically muted.
For setting the internal speaker's level, the HP VOL knob is used while press-
SP
ing the SP button. The adjusted level is indicated by the knob's LED ring.
If pressed, the corresponding contribution level to the internal speaker is
TB RET
indicated on the LED ring around the HP VOL knob and can be adjusted
individually. The mix ratio of the PFL and talkback return signals also influ-
ences the TB return signal on the DJ headphones.
If enabled in the Configuration Tool (see
the CR monitor speaker signals to be split depending on the HP Split Mode
in a similar way as for the headphones.
With PFL TO MON not active, the LSP Split mode does not affect the CR
monitor speakers at all.
With PFL TO MON active, PFL and the HP SPLIT button or the HP Split Mode
selector in the UserGUI, see
as follows :
CR monitor speakers provide the stereo signal selected by the source selector
as long as no PFL is active. Otherwise, the stereo SP SRC
CR monitor speakers.
Activating PFL on any channel provides two mono signals to the CR monitor
speakers. The left
