CONTROL BOARD REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

CAUTION: If fireplace has been burning, use appropriate protection to avoid burns or damage to personal property before removing any
components.
CONTROL BOARD REMOVAL
1.
Remove full door face or full door face doors, depending on style, and glass
frame assembly.
2.
Turn manual shutoff valve to OFF. Disconnect flexible gas line from manual
shutoff valve.
3.
Disconnect any wall switch, remote control or thermostat wire from gas valve.
4.
Remove logs, ember refractory, and pilot shield from burner.
5.
Remove screw securing burner to firebox back wall.
6.
Remove burner by lifting up while tilting towards right side, releasing from
burner orifice.
7.
Remove (7) screws securing control board. Carefully lift board out of firebox,
being careful not to damage sealing gasket located underneath.
CONTROL BOARD INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT: Make sure sealing gasket in in place under control board
before securing. If gasket is damaged, it must be replaced.
1.
Place control board into firebox opening, aligning holes in board to holes in
firebox bottom. Secure with screws previously removed.
2.
Reinstall burner assembly, verifying burner venturi is properly positioned over
burner orifice. Secure to firebox back wall with previously removed screw.
3.
Reinstall pilot shield, ember refractory and logs.
4.
Reconnect any wall switch, remote control of thermostat wires to gas valve.
5.
Check all connections for leaks, whether field or factory made.
6.
Verify proper operation of fireplace, including log placement.
7.
Reinstall glass frame and full door face assembly or full door face doors.
