8.5 Control Board Access,
Removal and Installation
WARNING: Avoid burns or personal property damage by using
appropriate protection to remove any components if the burner and/
or pilot have been burning.
WARNING: DO NOT operate this appliance without the sealing gasket
in place. If the sealing gasket is damaged, it must be replaced.
CAUTION: Check all connections for leaks with soapy water, whether
field or factory made.
8.5.1 Control Board Access Cover
On the left side of the unit, there is a control board access cover that
allows access to the control board without removing components
from the firebox.
For access, remove (8) screws securing cover to the outer shell.
Reinstall when finished.

8.5.2 Control Board Removal
1.
Disconnect electrical power.
2.
Locate the manual valve
and close valve.
3.
Remove the safety barrier screen and glass frame assembly.
4.
Remove log set and lava rock.
5.
Remove refractory panel set or black glass panel set.
screws securing the (4) panel clips on the front sides and the
back of the fireplace baffle. Remove panels from firebox.
6.
Remove media tray.
7.
Remove the log rack (1) screw on each side.
8.
Remove the (2) log stop brackets (2) screws each side.
9.
Remove the burner link brackets (4) screws.
10. Remove the side burners secured by (2) screws for each of the
side burners. Release the burner tube venturis off of the burner
orifices and remove from firebox.
