Adjustment of the slope nuts
This figure illustrates the principle. The position of the screw thread is indicated by a number.
A
Shows the frame when the seat is horizontal and the adapter is perpendicular to the ground.
B
Shows the frame when the seat is tilted slightly and the adapter is not perpendicular.
Make sure that the eccentric screw settings are identical on both front-wheel adapters and, before
using the wheelchair, that all fixing screws are properly tightened.
L
Check that all screws are fixed securely.
THE AXLE ADAPTER OF THE DRIVING WHEELS
The rear wheels can be mounted at various heights by means of an adjustable axle block, resulting in
different seat heights and/or seat angles. In addition, the rear axle and the back can be mounted in
such a way that tipping over is prevented.
1
Adjusting seat height
The driving wheels are mounted in an axle adapter (1) at the bottom of the back frame (2). Loosen the
fixing screws (3). Push the axle adapter (1) upwards or downwards to the desired height and then
secure it with the fixing screws (3). Make sure that all screws are properly tightened with an
appropriate tool before using the wheelchair.
L
When the driving wheels are adjusted, the position of the wheels are altered: Danger of
tipping!
Shifting the axle and the back (about 2.36 in.)
The driving wheels are mounted in an axle adapter (1) at the bottom of the back frame (2). Loosen the
fixing screws (3). Turn the axle adapter (1) to the back until the axle mounting is behind the back
frame, but place the adapter on the other back tube. Now secure with the fixing screws (3) and axle
adapter (1). Make sure that all screws (3) are properly tightened before using the wheelchair.
L
The brakes must be readjusted !!

TIPPING LEVER

A tipping lever is mounted on the lower right back frame that can be adjusted in its height depending
on the seat height of the wheelchair. It is secured with two screws. If an anti-tip device is installed, it
replaces the addition of the tipping lever and can be used accordingly (see chapter "Using the
wheelchair").
L
Make sure that all screws are properly tightened with the appropriate tool.
