Tilt and Rotation Adjustment

To adjust tilt angle of lens, loosen the tilt adjustment lock screw then
move the tilt assembly to the desired position within the range of motion.
Re-tighten screw carefully.
The lens will tilt 75° and rotate 355°. To adjust angle, hold the lens
carrier assembly. Do not hold lens or IR board when adjusting lens.

CAUTION:
Do not hold IR board when tilting the lens. Lens will only tilt 75°
in the direction away from the IR board. Do not force. Forcing
the assembly will break the camera and will void camera
warranty.

Consideration for Wall Installations

When installing a dome camera on a wall without a bracket, you are
limited in the direction that you can point the camera lens. Dome
cameras should point out perpendicular to the wall surface.

If you choose to turn the camera to point parallel to the wall surface, the
video image will be sideways. If you would like to point the camera
parallel to the wall, a mounting bracket is required. Wall mounts are
available for purchase at avertx.com.
Note
If the video image is upside down after installation, you can flip
the image 180º. For instructions to rotate the video, see Video
Rotation in this manual or find them at avertx.com/support.
