  • Page 10 AvertX HD300 cameras use Power over Ethernet (PoE). The only connection on the camera is the RJ45 Ethernet dongle located on the rear of the camera. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the dongle, and connect the other end to the HDIP recorder, or to a PoE switch.

Motion Detection allows the camera to detect motion and trigger alarms when the motion level in the detected area exceeds the determined sensitivity threshold value. When motion is detected, the signals will be displayed on the Motion window as shown below.
