  • Page 10 AvertX HD40IR cameras use Power over Ethernet (PoE). The only connection on the camera is the RJ45 Ethernet dongle located on the rear of the camera. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the dongle, and connect the other end to the recorder, or to a PoE switch.
