Checking Components
Refer to the Packing List to make sure that all the components have contained in carton box.
Installation
This EcoPowerGateway can be installed in either the NEC rack or a third vendor's rack. If you are
going to use the non-NEC rack, make sure that the rack is compliant to EIA standard and it can
accept the EcoPowerGateway. Contact your service representative for applicable rack.
Take the following steps to install the EcoPowerGateway in the rack.
Preparation for installation
The slide rail assembly contains inner rails (to be attached to the EcoPowerGateway) and
outer rails (to be attached to the rack). First, remove the outer rails before installation.
IMPORTANT: The two sliding rails are provided with the
EcoPowerGateway. Assort the inner and outer rails exactly same as they
were at the shipment.
