7-6 Installing Options
INSTALLATION/REMOVAL PROCEDURE
Install or remove the devices in the following procedure.
N8181-76F Power Unit
The EcoPowerGateway is equipped with two factory-installed power units in slots 1 and 2.
If a power load increases due to the server units or modular servers in Module Enclosure, you can
install the separately priced N8181-76F power unit in slots 3 and 4 additionally.
NOTE:
Chapter 2 for details.

Locate the slot to install the N8181-76F power unit (slot 3 or slot 4).
Do not remove the factory-installed blank cover from the slot if you are not going to
install an additional power unit.
Install the power unit starting from the slot 3, then 4.

In the standard configuration, the blank covers are installed in slots 3 and 4.
Before installing the additional power unit, you need to remove the blank cover from the
slot.
Rod such as a screwdriver
Prepare a necessary and sufficient number of power units. See
Loosen these screws.
Insert the rod into
the hole and pull out
the blank cover.
