2-12 General Description
DC Output ON/OFF
Take the following procedure to output 12VDC power to the server unit or Module Enclosure
containing the modular servers, connected with the EcoPowerGateway.
1.
Prepare the separately priced K410-213 DC cable.
IMPORTANT: Do not use any other cable than K410-213(xx).
xx denotes the cable length and branched or not.
Contact your service representative for the cable appropriate to your
requirement.
2.
Make sure that the DC output port you are going to connect is turned off (DC output lamp
is unlit).
IMPORTANT:
Do not hot-swap the DC cable.
Do not turn on the DC output port to which the DC cable is not
connected.
Do not turn on the DC output port before the other end of DC cable
is not connected to any port.
Make sure that the DC output lamp is off.
Port you are going to connect the
DC cable
If the DC output lamp is on,
press this switch to turn it off.
