Power-off of EcoPowerGateway

Take the following steps to power off the EcoPowerGateway.
1.
Shutdown all of the server units connected or modular servers in Module Enclosure.
2.
Press every DC output switch to turn off the DC output. (Make sure that all of the DC
output lamps are unlit.)
3.
Remove all the DC cables from the EcoPowerGateway.
4.
Press the POWER switch on front side to turn the power off. (Make sure that the POWER
lamp is unlit.)
5.
Remove all the power cords from the power supply units on the rear side.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to turn off the DC output switch before
disconnecting the power cable.

Device Identification

To identify the device to be maintained among more than one device, UID (Unit ID) lamp is used.
The UID switches and UID lamps are located both on front and rear of the EcoPowerGateway.
The UID lamp allows you to identify the device subject to maintenance among more than one
device installed in the Module Enclosure.
The UID lamp on modular server can also be made blinking blue by proper software commands
from the management PC on the network. In addition, pressing the UID switch on the
EcoPowerGateway brings the UID lamp to light.
