2-10 General Description
UID (Unit ID) Lamp
The UID lamp goes on when either of the UID (Unit ID) switches on the front and rear sides of the
EcoPowerGateway is pressed. It goes off when the UID switch is pressed again. The UID lamp
allows you to identify the device you are working on among the several devices in the rack.
The UID lamp goes on when the UID switch is pressed, and it blinks when the command is received
from the management software such as NEC ESMPRO Manager.
LINK/ACT Lamp (
)
The LINK/ACT lamp indicates the status of the management LAN port of the EcoPowerGateway
(LINK). While the connection between the EcoPowerGateway and management PC is correct, the
lamp is on. The lamp blinks while the management LAN port is transmitting/receiving data (ACT).
If the lamp does not go on when the LINK state is placed, check if the network cable is in normal
state and if it is connected correctly. If the lamp does not go on yet when the network cable is
normal, the network (LAN) controller may be faulty. In this case, contact your service
representative.
100/10 Lamp
The management LAN port supports 100BASE-TX (100Mbps) and 10BASE-T (10Mbps) network
interface.
The 1000/100/10 lamp indicates whether the management LAN port is operated through the
100BASE-TX or 10BASE-T network interface.
If the lamp is lit green, the management LAN port is operated through 100BASE-TX. If the lamp is
off, the management LAN port is operated through 10BASE-T.
