Display Interface

The 915GM/910GMLE Graphic Controller is a highly integrated
graphics accelerator to deliver high performance 2D, 3D and video
capabilities. The 915GM/910GMLE is a complete graphics solution with
its interfaces to UMA using a DVMT configuration, an analog display
(CRT port), a LVDS port for digital LCD connection, and optional
second LVDS LCD interface (via Chrontel CH7308A converter). It also
provides 2D hardware acceleration for block transfers of data (BLTs).
The excellent hardware operation can reduce the CPU load that
improves the system performance; meanwhile, the memory interface
has a high bandwidth for data access. The 915GM/910GMLE uses
Tiling architecture to increase system memory efficiency and thus
maximize effective rendering bandwidth.
The board has several VGA/Flat Panel connectors that support CRT/
VGA. CN16 is a 15-pin D-Sub connector for the CRT VGA display, CN6
a JST SHDR-40V-S-B 40-pin connector for LVDS Interface LCD, and
CN8 a DF13-7S-1.25C 7-pin Connector for Inverter.
