Connector Defi nitions
An 8-pin power connector (JP5) and
two 4-pin power connectors (JP3/JP4)
are located on the motherboard. These
power connectors meet the SSI EPS 12V
specifi cation. To provide adequate power
to your system, connect these power
connectors to your power supply. See
the table on the right for pin defi nitions.
Standby Power
The Standby Power header is located
at JSTBY1 on the motherboard. See the
layout below for the location.
Fan Headers
This motherboard has two system/
CPU/fan headers (Fan1/Fan2) on the
motherboard. These 4-pin fan headers
are backward compatible with the
traditional 3-pin fans. The fan speeds
are controlled via fi rmware management
via IPMI interface. See the table on the
right for pin defi nitions.

A System Management Bus header for
IPMI 2.0 is located at JIPMB1. Connect
the appropriate cable here to use the

C connection on your system.
