SAS2308 SAS2 controller is integrated into X9DRFF(-7) serverboard of
the F617R2-F73 server to provide a four port 6 Gb/s SAS2 (Serial Attached SCSI)
subsystem and four 6 Gb/s SAS2 connectors, which are RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10 and 50
supported. The SAS drives are hot-swappable units.
Note: The operating system you use must have RAID support to enable the
hotswap capability and RAID function of the SAS drives.
PCI Expansion Slots
The FatTwin F617R2-FT/F73 has for each node 1x PCI-E 3.0 x16 low-profi le slot
available for use with a riser card.
Onboard Controllers/Ports
One Fast UART 16550 serial port, one 9-pin RS-232 port are located on the
serverboard. The color-coded I/O ports include one COM port, a VGA (monitor)
port, two USB 2.0 ports, an IPMI dedicated LAN port and two Gigabit Ethernet ports.

Graphics Controller
The X9DRFF(-7) features an integrated Nuvoton WPCM450R BMC Video Controller.
Nuvoton WPCM450R Controller
Note: The term "IPMI controller" and the term "BMC controller" can be used
interchangeably in this section.
The Nuvoton WPCM450R Controller, a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC),
supports 2D/VGA-compatible Graphic Cores with PCI interface, creating multi-media
virtualization via Keyboard/Video/Mouse Redirection (KVMR). The WPCM450R
Controller is ideal for remote system management.
The WPCM450R Controller interfaces with the host system via PCI connections
to communicate with the graphics cores. It supports USB 2.0 and 1.1 for remote
keyboard/mouse/virtual media emulation. It also provides LPC interface support to
control Super IO functions. The WPCM450R Controller is connected to the network
via an external Ethernet PHY module or shared NCSI connections.
