Many features within the McAFee UTM Firewall Management Console can affect the flow of packet traffic
within the appliance. This topic outlines the hierarchy and precedence of the features. The vast majority of
incoming traffic are forwarded packets. Packets considered as Input (device-bound) are destined for the
UTM Firewall appliance itself, targeted as either a device endpoint, Web-administration, proxy, or sshd.
