• SET COMSPEC=
Specifies the drive and path where the shell can be found. Use this command only if the
SHELL= command is used to select a program other than COMMAND.COM as the shell,
or if the shell is located in a directory other than the root directory of the boot drive.
• SHELL = file.ext
Specifies the command shell to be used. The default command shell is COMMAND.COM
from the boot drive's root directory.
