Terminal Configuration Issues
Recommended Configuration(s)
Load full CardSoft into conventional
memory without EMS.
Use the following list of commands in
CONFIG.SYS:
DEVICE=ss365sl.exe
DEVICE=cs.exe
DEVICE=csalloc.exe
DEVICE=atadrv.exe
DEVICE=mtsram.exe
DEVICE=mtddrv.exe
DEVICE=cardid.exe

Ensure that the files CSALLOC.INI and
CARDID.INI are placed into the directory in
which the CardSoft executables are
located. Additionally, ensure that all Card
Library Files (.CLB) for card types that will
be used are loaded into the same directory
and referenced as CardLib= lines in the
[Libraries] section of CARDID.INI. Ensure
that the line UseEMS=No appears in the
[Common] section of CARDID.INI.
Same as option A above, but ensure that
the line UseEMS=Yes appears in the
[Common] section of CARDID.INI.
Load HIMEM.SYS and EMM386.EXE
(MIN=XXX RAM XXX) in CONFIG.SYS to
provide EMS support. Note that "xxx"
should be 32 KB plus the amount of EMS
needed for other software.
