- Controllare la molla.
Sostituirla se:
Il diametro esterno è danneggiato o eccessivamente usurato.
La lunghezza libera è uguale o inferiore a 457 mm (18 in.).
- Controllare il tubo interno.
Sostituirlo se si riscontrano delle distorsioni.
(Non riparare o riutilizzare un tubo con distorsioni).
Se il tubo presenta difetti superficiali, pulire la superficie con carta vetrata.
Se non è possibile la riparazione, sostituire il tubo.
(Non riutilizzare un tubo interno se risulta segnato o presenta sporgenze
sulla superficie esterna).
- Controllare il tubo esterno.
Sostituire il tubo se si riscontrano distorsioni o se la superficie di scorrimento
risulta danneggiata.
- Montare gli anelli di tenuta e le parti metalliche sul tubo interno.
Per la sequenza di montaggio vedere la figura sottoriportata.
Nota 1: Applicare grasso sul bordo dell'anello di tenuta.
Nota 2: quando si monta l'anello di tenuta sul tubo interno, coprire la parte
terminale di quest'ultimo con un involucro in plastica come indicato nella
figura.
Questo proteggerà il labbro dell'anello evitando che si danneggi.
- Check the spring.
Controllare che i gruppi riportati sulla figura non presentino rotture o siano danneggiati.
Replace it if:
In caso contrario, effettuare la sostituzione.

A. PERNI FISSAGGIO MOTORE
Free length is 457 mm (18 in.) or less.
B. PERNI FISSAGGIO TELAIO POSTERIORE
- Check the inner tube.
C. RULLO GUIDACATENA-CUSCINETTO
Replace if distorted.
D. APPOGGIAPIEDI-PERNI-MOLLE
(Never attempt to repair or reuse a distorted fork tube).
E. CAVALLETTO LATERALE- MOLLE
If the tube shows surface defects, sand the surface.
If repair is not possible, replace the tube.
Check the assemblies shown on the picture for wear or failure.
(Never reuse an inner tube if scored or showing bulges on the outer sur- If worn or breaked, replace them.
