Resetting NVRAM

Resetting NVRAM returns all the image processor's NVRAM-stored parameters
to their factory defaults except the print count (of images processed through the
image processor) and the Adobe firmware serial number.
To reset the image processor to its factory default values, follow this procedure:
1.
Place the rear panel DIP Switch 9 in the on position (up). Place the rear
panel DIP Switches 2, 3 and 4 in the off position (down).
2.
Toggle DIP Switch 1 up and back down to reinitialize the image
processor.
3.
For printer with 8 rear panel LEDs. Observe the rear panel LEDs; it
quickly flashes in a cyclic "walking LED" pattern. This pattern repeats
for 10 seconds.
During the time the "walking LED" pattern is displayed, move DIP
Switch 9 into the off (down) position. NVRAM will automatically reset
when the health light begins blinking at its steady one blink/second
"heartbeat" rate, indicating normal operation.
For printers with one rear panel LED. Observe the rear panel LED
STATUS; it flashes at a 90% on duty cycle for ten seconds. During this
time, move DIP Switch 9 into the off (down) position. NVRAM will
automatically reset when the STATUS light begins blinking at its
steady one blink/second "heartbeat" rate, indicating normal
operation.
If you do not move DIP Switch 9 down during the 10 second "window
of opportunity," then the NVRAM is not reset. If Switch 9 is down
during an ordinary power-up, then the quick flash LED pattern is not
displayed and NVRAM is not reset.
