The printer cabinet
The printer cabinet is comprised of four basic parts:
The cabinet bottom.
The cabinet top.
The top access cover.
The rear access cover.
To remove the covers:
Caution
In the next step, notice the narrow clearance between the rear of the
cabinet top and the printhead. As you raise and lower the cabinet
top, ensure that it does not strike the printhead.
1.
Remove the paper tray.
2.
Open the top access cover.
3.
Press the rear access cover release button.
4.
Lower the rear access cover, lift it slightly and pull the cover to the
right to remove.
5.
Remove the four T-25 screws securing the cabinet top to the cabinet
bottom. Slowly , tilt the cabinet top forward and lift to remove.
