If you replace the engine control board, you should perform the
Chapter 9 topic "Checking and adjusting the printhead" on page 9-9.
A new engine control board introduces electronic variations that can
affect print quality.
1. Power down the printer and remove the paper tray. Remove the
printer cabinet covers.
2.
Disconnect the wiring harnesses connected to the engine control
board.
3. Remove the two screws securing the engine control board to its frame.
4. Lift up and remove the engine control board. Make sure that the
board is fully and evenly seated in its connector before securing the
board in place.

Reverse these steps to reinstall the engine control board.
