Setting up the printer

Removing the shipping block

The printer's printhead shipping block must be removed before turning the
printer on. Do not throw the shipping block away; it must be installed before the
printer can be shipped to a new location or back to the factory.
To remove the shipping block:
1. Open the top cover.
2.
Hold down the blue button while you open the rear cover.
3. Push the shipping block tab up and slide it, along with the printhead,
past the cabinet post.
4. Remove the shipping block, then close the covers.
