CHAPTER 10: Phone and Voice Dialing
220
The first time you use this feature, the BlackBerry
will take a few seconds to scan your Address Book.
When you hear ''Say a command,'' just speak the
name of the contact you wish to call using the
syntax ''Call Martin Trautschold.''
You will then be prompted with ''Which number.''
Again, speak clearly and say ''Home,'' ''Work,'' or
''Mobile.'' Say Yes to confirm and the BlackBerry
will dial.

Using Voice Dialing to Call a Number

1. Press the left convenience key as you did above.
2. When you hear ''Say a command,'' say ''Call'' and the phone number.
For example, ''Call 386-555-8888.''
3. Depending on your settings, you may be asked to confirm the number
you just spoke or the BlackBerry may just start dialing.
