SMS Tips and Tricks
There are some quick keystrokes you can use to navigate quickly through your
messages.
These shortcuts are entered when in the Message List
Press the C key to compose a message.
Press the R key to reply to a message.
Press the L key to reply to all senders.
Press the F key to forward a message.
Push and hold the Alt key and press I to view Incoming (received)
messages.
Push and hold the Alt key and press the S key to view all SMS text
messages.
Press the Escape key to view your entire message list once more (un-
filter it).
TIP: Most of these same shortcuts work for email messages as well.
MMS Messaging on Your BlackBerry
MMS stands for Multimedia Messaging, which includes pictures, video, and audio in the
body of the message. The fact that the media is included in the body of the message is
different than regular email, which can include media as attachments. The other key
difference with MMS compared to email is that you can send MMS to phones that do
not have email capabilities. This might be useful if not all your colleagues, friends, and
family use BlackBerry smartphones!
Not all BlackBerry devices or carriers support MMS messaging

make sure that your recipient can receive these messages before you send them.
