Adjusting the Size of the Picture

The size of your pictures corresponds to the number of pixels or dots used to render the
image. If you tend to transfer your BlackBerry pictures to your desktop for printing or
emailing, you might want a bigger or smaller picture to work with.
1. From the camera screen, press the
Menu key and select Options.
2. Scroll down to Picture Size and
select the size of your picture:
Small, Medium, or Large.
3. Press the Menu key and save your
settings.
TIP: Emailing your pictures will go faster if
you set your picture size to Small.

Adjusting the White Balance

Usually the automatic white balance works
fairly well. However, there may be times
when you want to manually control it.
In this case, select an option from the White
Balance menu (in the same Camera Options
screen).

Adjusting the Picture Quality

There are times when you might want to change the picture quality. Fortunately, it is
quite easy to adjust the quality of your photos. Realize, however, that increasing the
quality or the size will increase the memory requirements for that particular picture.
In one non-scientific test, changing the picture quality resulted in the following changes
to the file size of the picture at a fixed size setting of Large (2048 × 1536):
Normal: Image File Size: Approximately 80k (indoors picture)*
Fine: Approximately 250% larger than Normal
Superfine: Approximately 400% larger than Normal
