2. Open the file using a text-only editor such as Windows Notepad or
Wordpad.
3. Locate your wireless carrier's name. Take note that carrier names with
ampersands like AT&T will be listed as ''AT&T''.
4. Change enabled="false" to enabled="true" as shown in Figure 28-5.

5. Save your changes, and restart Desktop Manager. The Icon should
reappear. If it does not, restart your computer, and try again.

Using Desktop Manager for Mac

First, download and install the latest version of Desktop Manager for Mac from
www.blackberry.com. Learn how on page 125.
Now, connect your BlackBerry to your Mac. Go to Settings  Network on your Mac to see
the window shown in Figure 28-6.

Your Mac now sees your BlackBerry as a new network interface and will attempt to
configure it as a dial up modem for tethering.
